I LOVE THIS GROUP

I love this group. Henry is always available to pose questions, offer tips for baking and teaching new skills and tips. The community is interactive which makes it nice to show up because there is feedback for your bakes, cheers for your successes and just all around great people. For every level I think. I'm self-taught gluten-free baking and I feel there is so much for me to learn here. Thank you Henry!

The Saturday bake along are so much fun because it's not like a recipe out the book and if you get stuck you have to figure it out by yourself... No you have a whole community there to help. I recently joined The Crust and Crumb Academy as I am a new sourdough beginner. Henry created this platform of beginners to advanced bakers. He caters to all different levels and he is always there to assist and guide us. He is very informative and always has tricks up his sleeve. How to tackle the situation and how to improve it by always challenging us to think. He definitely knows his baking and history to the art of baking successful bread and an array of various bakes as well. This has definitely opened my eyes to baking to a different dimension and the world is definitely your oyster. I am so fortunate to stumble across this group and decided to join. I have not looked back as every day I am broadening my horizons in being a successful home baker.

I recommend this site to anyone beginning or proven baker to use this site. There is so much support to answer any questions you may have. Problem solving with lots of images to follow and a lead baker-Henry who wants you to succeed and encourages you along, whether there is lots of room for improvement and many opportunities to succeed and to not give up. Excellent Community to Learn

I'm so glad I was pointed toward this community. I belong to a bunch of pages regarding sourdough, but I have never posted my bread up there because well... if it's not perfect they usually rip you a new one. I'm not into that. We learn and grow by bringing each other up, not down. Hats off to you @Henry Hunter you have created an amazing community here where all are welcome and learn from each other. Not Just Recipes...

Sure you can use youtube or read a book to learn how to make bread/bake but there comes a time when you really need community to troubleshoot what's going on. This course and group have helped me achieve so much with my bread baking skills. I would get impatient when I would make bread and didn't trust the process. A Great Learning Opportunity

The Crust & Crumb Academy is a great learning opportunity for anyone who wants to learn how to make yeasted and sourdough breads. The recipe guides are incredible and really provide help for every step of the way. In fact, I have never seen guides like this before. I joined this community as soon as Henry started it because I believed in the mission and I was not disappointed. If you’ve ever been in a Facebook group where you’re looking for that solid community with kind but constructive criticism, and you feel like you’re just not getting it, this group is for you. I’ve been able to help people who are at different experience levels than me while simultaneously I’ve been able to get help from people at higher experience levels than me. In a short time we’ve all gotten to know each other and enjoy learning from each other and through each other‘s experiences. In addition to the community, there is a ton of education all in one spot. If you ever need to know the wire or how behind any method or recipe you will find it here. I highly recommend joining if you’re looking to be in a community full of bakers who want to do their absolute best.
