Owner Q and A
How much does it cost?
Weekly scooping starts at $14, twice-weekly at $23 and every-other-week at $22. One-time and initial cleanings start at $50 and need a $50 deposit. Prices cover a yard up to about 5,000 square feet (one-eighth of an acre). Larger yards cost more, and the quote form gets you an exact number.
Where do they work?
They serve Tampa Bay and are based in the Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa. They do not list individual towns, so put your address in the quote request and they will confirm it.
Do I need a contract?
No. Service is a monthly subscription billed every four weeks, with a card or bank account on file. They skip Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day, and scoop the extra waste at the next visit.
What happens on a visit?
You get a text and an email if the schedule changes. The crew arrives in uniform with freshly sanitized equipment, scoops the yard and checks that the gate is latched before leaving. If they notice anything unusual in your dog's waste, they text you.
How do I get started?
Fill in the quote request form. They send a quote for the services you asked for, and once you approve it they schedule your first scoop. The client portal handles scheduling, messages and invoices after that.
Are there extra charges?
Cleaning waste from decks, patios and sidewalks is $5 a visit. A return visit after a locked or blocked gate is $5, added to the next month's bill. Yards over one-eighth of an acre cost more.
Do they serve HOAs and apartment communities?
Yes. They clean common areas and maintain waste stations once, twice or three times a week, or as a one-time cleaning. A property request form starts it, and they walk the property before giving a quote.
Who runs Tampa Bay Poo Patrol?
Leigh and Kris Nickens own it. They live in Seminole Heights with their Great Dane, Eloise, and their Weimaraner, Walter.
