Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using ProveWorth (proveworth.com), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site. That's genuinely fine, we'd rather you read this than breeze past it.

2. What ProveWorth is

A directory of online communities with member reviews. We help people decide which community to join, and we help community owners collect honest feedback.

3. Your account

• You must be 16 or older
• You must give us a real email address
• You're responsible for your account and anything done with it
• Don't impersonate other people or create fake accounts

4. Reviews: the rules

• Write reviews based on your genuine experience as a member
• Don't accept payment or free access in exchange for a positive review
• Don't post the same review on multiple communities
• Critique the community, not the founder's hair
• Don't post spam, unrelated links, or promotional content

We may remove reviews that violate these rules. Repeat violations get accounts suspended.

5. Your content, your license

You own what you write. When you post it on ProveWorth, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, display, format, and moderate it. That license lasts as long as the review is published. If you delete your review, the license ends for that content. We keep a record that it existed, for moderation purposes.

6. Community owners

If you claim a community:

• You represent that you actually own or operate it
• You can edit your profile, respond to reviews, and manage moderator permissions
• You can't delete negative reviews just because you don't like them. Moderation happens through our flagging process
• Premium subscribers get additional features described on the pricing page

7. Paid subscriptions

• Premium is $29/month (annual plans get a discount)
• You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds: within 30 days of purchase, for any reason. After that, we don't refund partial months
• We can change pricing with at least 30 days' notice

8. What we can do

• Remove content that violates these terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations
• Change the site, add features, or remove features
• Update these terms (see Section 13)

9. What you can't do

• Scrape the site at scale (ask us if you need bulk data)
• Attempt to access accounts that aren't yours
• Reverse-engineer the site
• Use ProveWorth to harass, defame, or harm other users
• Misrepresent your affiliation with a community or with ProveWorth

10. Our stuff

ProveWorth's name, logos, design, code, content we write, and aggregated data are ours. You can link to ProveWorth, quote reviews with attribution, and screenshot community profiles. You can't copy the whole site or use the name in a way that implies we endorse you.

11. Disclaimers

ProveWorth is provided "as is." Reviews on the site are opinions from members. We don't verify every claim in every review. We don't guarantee a community will be a good fit for you, that reviews are perfectly accurate, or that the site will be available every minute of every day. Do your own due diligence before joining a paid community.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Digital Gravity LLC's total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is $0 for free accounts). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

13. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms. For material changes, we'll notify you by email and give you at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the notice period means you accept the new terms. If you don't accept, cancel your account.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally goes to binding arbitration under AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, except for small-claims court and requests for injunctive relief. Each party bears its own costs.
