I keep this space ego-free and supportive. We're all here to get better, not to show off. I give honest feedback daily because that's how you improve fast. The vibe is more like a practice room with friends than a competition. Everyone uploads their covers and gets real feedback, including from me personally.

Finbar Horgan quit his 9-5 job and now gigs 7 nights a week. He says it's not because he's an amazing guitarist or singer, but because he developed a system. He's helped over 100 guitarists and singers reach their solo acoustic goals using this same approach.

The real down to earth information, group support and motivation!!
Before starting with PGA plus and Finbar I was playing songs on my own, working endlessly on the same songs and not improving my repoirtoire or confidence.Since joining PGA plus my setlist has gone from around 10 singable songs to over 70. I have gone from being afraid to play in front of family and Friends to playing whenever i feel like it and regularly playing and singing songs on my own in Jam sessions in pubs.I have also written two songs which was never even a goal of mine to begin with.I am building towards playing live regularly and getting paid which was originally not a goal of mine but I think when an opportunity arrives I will now be able to take it. The benefit that PGA plus gives me is quality lessons and advice and feedback on how to improve and play songs. PGA plus has in many ways replaced mindless scrolling for me.whenever i have free time i either learn or practice a song, attend an open mic or masterclass or also just scroll through and comment on the covers that the community members have put up. There is a wealth of ideas and tip/tricks that can be gained from this. This week alone I have learned and can now play four songs that i wouldn't have thought were in my range to play. These are: Crazy little thing called love, Under the Bridge, Mr Brightside and Teenage Dirtbag. I had attempted all of these songs before in their original keys but they didn't work for me, however Finbars key changes result in me being able to play these songs to at least an acceptable standard now (and I am my own worst critic). So to summarise PGA plus has changed who I am as a musician. I have a repoirtoire that is at least 2.5 solid hours. I am now confident in my ability to pick up and play a guitar in front of people. Obviously this doesn't happen without work and I have worked hard on and embraced all the aspects available on PGA plus which has given all the material i need to progress from a bedroom musican to a competent solo musician. If any of this resonates with you then I would advise you to sign up to PGA plus immediately. If you have the ability to play the guitar to a late beginner level and can sing any way in tune then there are 1000's of hours worth of material here for you to work with. Even experienced performers have a lot to gain here also.new songs, fresh ideas, communities to bounce ideas off, feedback on songs etc. This review is rambling but that is because i feel very strongly about how good this site is and from the first day I joined i have loved it. Get involved quickly while you can 😁
