One of the best guitar communities I've been in.

I just wanted to stop by and leave this review for Chris's community. I've been in this community from the very beginning, and I've learnt so much from Chris's expertise! What I love are the really down-to-earth and simple tutorials that help you learn guitar, and I 100% recommend this community to anyone who is just getting started!

Beginner or Experienced - This is the place for connection and growth

I love this community for the conversations, the connections and growth in guitar playing skills. I've played guitar of over 50 years - not well - but I do play. My guitar broke about 5 years ago and in 2 weeks I'll be purchasing a new one. All because Chris re ignited my excitement about playing again. It's one thing to go "youtube" how to play - it's quite another to have someone you can ask questions of when you just don't understand something. Bonus my husband is going to take up guitar also!

Real Progress, Real Songs, Real Fast

I wouldn’t consider myself a complete beginner -- I’m more of a self-taught player in that intermediate range -- but this class has been incredibly valuable for me in a way I didn’t expect. It’s helped me go back and actually understand the foundational skills I either skipped or picked up incorrectly along the way, and that alone has made a huge difference in how I approach playing. What really stands out is how well everything is broken down. The lessons are clear, step-by-step, and easy to follow without ever feeling overwhelming or overly basic. Chris has a way of explaining things that just click, whether you’re brand new or trying to clean up bad habits like I was. But what makes this class different is that it’s not just drills or theory, you’re learning through music right away. Chris chooses a lot of well-known songs and riffs, and breaks them down into simple, manageable pieces so you can actually play something recognizable pretty quickly. That immediate sense of progress and accomplishment is huge, especially if you’ve ever felt stuck or discouraged trying to learn on your own. On top of that, there’s a really fun community aspect built in. The challenges and interactive pieces keep you engaged and give you something to work toward, instead of just passively watching lessons. It makes the whole experience feel more like you’re part of something, not just learning in isolation. Honestly, it’s been a great reset for me as a player. Whether you’re a true beginner or someone who’s been self-teaching and wants to tighten up your fundamentals, this is one of the most effective and enjoyable ways I’ve found to do it. You can tell Chris genuinely cares about helping people learn, and it shows in how the whole program is put together.

Best YouTube Marketing Community

Hi everyone, I'm Lana Liquity and I joined the Content Revenue Lab because my goal this year is to get 100 subscribers on my YouTube channel. I've had it for several years but I haven't really worked on getting a lot more subscribers and I joined the Content Revenue Lab so I can hit my goal of getting 100 subscribers before the end of this year so I can increase the number of people who see my podcast, Self Publishing for Professionals. Being a member in Dez's Content Revenue Lab has been like, if I said incredible, I would be downplaying it. Dez drops the best information in little bites so you can follow along and easily implement the action steps he tells you to take. And it's all from his experience. It's not inflated, it's not fluffed, and it's not BS. This is what Dez uses to get his YouTube channel more subscribers, more views, and get the right people to his channel. And these are effective practices that work. If you are looking to get the right subscribers to your YouTube account and want to take those subscribers and convert them into paying clients on Skoll, you should join the Content Revenue Lab. The Content Revenue Lab is not for people who are using YouTube as a hobby or just playing around with videos and throwing them up there. The Content Revenue Lab is for serious people who want to generate serious business and generate the right traffic to their platform, to their Skoll community, and to their YouTube channel.

My favorite community about YouTube on Skool.

My favorite community about YouTube on Skool. What I love the most about Content Revenue Lab, that Des, the founder & host, is very responsive to any questions YT related, he shares everything and does hold back. Not only that, but his answers are real and practical, easy to implement. Des's presentation at the Community Clinic event in my community on YouTube was one of the most popular ones. If you have YT channel, or planning one, to help you grow your business, then I highly recommend you join Content Revenue Lab.

I joined The Content Revenue Lab because Des teaches YouTube strategy in a way that finally feels simple and doable. The community is built for creators 40+ who want to learn the same systems he used to build a full-time income from a smaller YouTube audience. What drew me in was the way Des explains things. His approach is different from so many other creators I have learned from. He breaks down YouTube strategy in a way that makes sense, without making you feel overwhelmed. Des is a phenomenal instructor. He truly knows his stuff, but what stands out even more is how much he cares about his members. He is willing to go above and beyond to help people understand, take action, and grow. Since joining The Content Revenue Lab, I have grown in how I think about my YouTube content, but also how I think about my business overall. I now have a clearer way to strategize, create, and move forward. Thank you, Des, for all that you do.
