Owner Q and A
Q: Do I need to be home?▾
No. We just need gate access. If it is locked, tell us the code once and we will not ask again.
Q: What happens with my dog while you work?▾
Inside is easiest. If they are friendly and out in the yard that is fine too, and most of ours are.
Q: What if I want to stop?▾
Text us. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
Q: Do you work in the rain?▾
Yes. We skip for lightning and we come the next dry day at no extra charge.
Q: Which properties do you cover?▾
Houses with a garden and a gate we can get through. Ring us about anything else and we will point you at the right person.

I put off paying someone to do this for about two years because it felt like the most ridiculous thing in the world to outsource. Then we had a summer where nobody went out the back door and I gave in. It is $22 a visit and I have stopped thinking about the back garden entirely. The bit I did not expect is the photo of the latched gate that lands every week, because we have one dog who treats an open gate as an invitation and I used to check it three times before leaving the house.

Invoice was wrong, sorted the same day
Good service and the people are nice. The star is off because the first invoice put me on the two-dog rate when I have three, which meant I had to ring about it, and I would rather not have to ring about an invoice. They fixed it the same day and credited the difference back.

Janelle, thank you for ringing rather than leaving it. The dog count on the old sign-up form was something I typed in by hand after the fact, which is exactly how this happens. It reads off what you pick now. The difference is back on your card.

Booked the one-off catch-up in February after a winter of pretending the garden was fine. Two of them, ninety minutes, photo of the finished yard on my phone before they had left the street. On weekly now.

It is the same person on my yard every week and he knows the side gate sticks and has to be lifted. I had a service before this one that sent whoever was free, and the gate got left open twice.

Two dogs in a small yard, and it was the middle of August. I had been keeping the back door shut and running the air conditioning harder than I needed to, which I only worked out afterwards. Added the deodorising treatment for $25 on top of the weekly and the patio was usable the same evening.

Gate photo every time
The photo of the latched gate arrives every week without fail. My office is forty minutes the other side of Austin so there is nothing I can do about an open gate from there.
