Who are you and why did you join Authentic AF?
Hi, I'm Joe Duramo. I joined Authentic AF. I've known Andy for a few years now. I met him through MKP. We staffed together and I just really liked him. He was a good guy, fun to be around and I knew he had the community and I just, I don't know, I just started answering some of the prompts and it just felt good. It's been a nice addition to my day.
What's it actually been like being a member?
And he's a fun guy. I like the daily prompts, and sometimes I'm moved to contribute, sometimes I'm not. As a copywriter and marketing professional, I have to engage people a lot, so I guess I empathize with somebody who's trying to create some engagement. So I just started responding, and it's been more fun, and I've jumped on a few coffees. I'm typically writing my newsletters on Sunday mornings, so I'm aware that there's a call at 10 o'clock, and if time allows, I join it, if not, I don't. But it's kind of nice knowing it's there if I want to just do a quick check-in.
Who would benefit most from this, and who wouldn't?
Honestly, I don't know why and I think every man would benefit from just having a little time with other men and just having kind of letting your hair down and being able to share whatever it is that's on your mind. There's not a lot of people in our daily lives who are willing to give us that space and Andy provides it without charge and without prejudice, without judgment and it's just a reassuring thing to have and I wish more men would take advantage of it.

I went through one of his meditation session and! It was amazing!.
A lot of times I find it hard to shut out the noise! and Andy was able to assist me in shutting it out and Centering myself. WoW
And the noise stopped.
It was One of the best experiences I've had in a long time!
One of his secrets, his patience and if I had to add one more, it would probably be awareness
I could feel his awareness every time.. I kept coming back to the surface he would gently, and patiently guide me back.

The honesty, the sense of everyone is there for genuine reasons & most of all Andy, he has a great energy & even though i havent been very active recently knowing he has my corner gives me a great comfort

Andy leads with vulnerability and it paves the way for everyone else in the community. Andy always approaches things from a glass half full perspective. He’s a great listener and an even better human being. Even though he has this scary presence to some, he’s a big teddy bear with a big heart who just wants to help people. Everyone needs an Andy in their corner, and Authentic AF is perfectly suited for what Andy offers.

Who are you and why did you join Authentic AF?
Hi, I'm Brian Walsh, and I run several communities inside of Skool, as well as a director of IT operations, a dad, and entrepreneur. I'm crazy all over the place. I have the privilege of meeting Andy inside of another community called Skool Dads. And when I saw how he approached everything and how much he cared about his members, and how he constantly is looking for opportunities to really cut through all the BS and help people, that's when I knew I needed to be around Andy. And I think it's helped me a lot.
What's it actually been like being a member?
Being a part of Authentic AF is actually magical. I say this because you can't find a lot of spaces like Authentic AF where you feel it's not posturing. It's not me, me, me. It's us, us, us. I feel a part of a whole and there are moments where you can steal the spotlight and share and be vulnerable because this space is so welcoming. It's an opportunity to cut through all of the noise and figure out how do you get back to yourself and then move forward.
Who would benefit most from this, and who wouldn't?
I believe that the ideal person to join Authentic AF is someone who actually is ready to make some changes in their lives. They'll join realizing that they need to face themselves, but they don't have to do it alone. So who shouldn't join is someone who isn't ready to dip into the hard things and make actual changes. Andy is a great guide, he's a great listener, and I can't thank him enough for creating this space where I can be my authentic self. It sounds cliche, but it's true. You really can be who you are. I wouldn't change my journey for anything, and Andy's helped me to realize that it's been so special, each and every step, to be who I am and who I want to be.
