Alli Gatlin knows what she's talking about. Her journaling advice and written prompts are excellent, but what proved even more valuable to me was talking with her one-on-one. The combination of encouragement and plain-spoken truths she delivered allowed me to overcome the worst of my self-doubt and really embrace a sense of confidence. Highly recommend.

Ali explains and shares such meaningful prompts and advice on how to become a better writer. More, then that the course develops you to think critically but look deeply into yourself. I definitely recommend her โจ๏ธ
This group met me when I didn't know I needed it most. Ali instantly welcomed me to the space. I can pour it all out with no worries, no BS, and no fakeness! It's real, raw and genuine.
This community has helped me find clarity over confused thoughts, my overthinking mind even when messy, this was perfect way to connect with authentic self and others sharing my story. I got to grow and learn some fun facts. I do struggle being creative but Alli has made it easier for me too express, I even wrote a poem for my lost daughter. Grief expressed even when messy, written identity shared with others to spread Compassion and understanding ๐ thank you truly!
I love being part of this community which values authenticity while also holding space for safely exploring.

Thank you for naming the safety in this space, especially the kind that lets us explore without our inner critics running the show. What I love about Written Identity, or "the village" as it is lovingly referred to, is that the founder, Alli, genuinely cares about the people in this group. She isn't looking to grow the village just so she can profit; it's about connection, the writing journey, and being able to express your feelings, no matter how ugly they may feel in the moment.
The village is also special because of the amount of support. There is no competition here; only love and cheerleading.
Anyone looking to rebuild from a place of sadness, depression or complete devastation will find "Written Identity" a safe place to land and start over. Zero Burnout, zero nervous system overloads here.
But having said that, you don't HAVE to be sad/mad/burned out to benefit from the village. Literally anyone who just wants to write but might need prompting or reminders or someone to say "your voice is valid" will also love Written Identity.
You can come as you are, and we will love the entirety of you in the village :)
