Inside The Village, members learn the Write Ugly Method™. A grounded, repeatable, no-BS writing practice that rebuilds clarity, self-trust, and emotional honesty. This isn’t journaling for aesthetics or self-help theater. It’s practical writing that supports real life. Through simple daily practices and optional community connection, members rebuild a relationship with writing that strengthens communication, decision-making, leadership, and creative work across life, relationships, and business. I created Written Identity after realizing how many capable, emotionally intelligent people were silently drowning while “looking fine.” I was one of them. Writing became the way I slowed my mind, told the truth, and rebuilt trust with myself without fixing or performing. This Village exists so no one has to do that work alone. It’s honest, supportive, no-BS, and rooted in real life.

This group met me when I didn't know I needed it most. Ali instantly welcomed me to the space. I can pour it all out with no worries, no BS, and no fakeness! It's real, raw and genuine.
This community has helped me find clarity over confused thoughts, my overthinking mind even when messy, this was perfect way to connect with authentic self and others sharing my story. I got to grow and learn some fun facts. I do struggle being creative but Alli has made it easier for me too express, I even wrote a poem for my lost daughter. Grief expressed even when messy, written identity shared with others to spread Compassion and understanding 🙏 thank you truly!

What I love about Written Identity, or "the village" as it is lovingly referred to, is that the founder, Alli, genuinely cares about the people in this group. She isn't looking to grow the village just so she can profit; it's about connection, the writing journey, and being able to express your feelings, no matter how ugly they may feel in the moment.
The village is also special because of the amount of support. There is no competition here; only love and cheerleading.
Anyone looking to rebuild from a place of sadness, depression or complete devastation will find "Written Identity" a safe place to land and start over. Zero Burnout, zero nervous system overloads here.
But having said that, you don't HAVE to be sad/mad/burned out to benefit from the village. Literally anyone who just wants to write but might need prompting or reminders or someone to say "your voice is valid" will also love Written Identity.
You can come as you are, and we will love the entirety of you in the village :)
