Hi, I'm Joe Duramo. I joined Authentic AF. I've known Andy for a few years now. I met him through MKP. We staffed together and I just really liked him. He was a good guy, fun to be around and I knew he had the community and I just, I don't know, I just started answering some of the prompts and it just felt good. It's been a nice addition to my day. And he's a fun guy. I like the daily prompts, and sometimes I'm moved to contribute, sometimes I'm not. As a copywriter and marketing professional, I have to engage people a lot, so I guess I empathize with somebody who's trying to create some engagement. So I just started responding, and it's been more fun, and I've jumped on a few coffees. I'm typically writing my newsletters on Sunday mornings, so I'm aware that there's a call at 10 o'clock, and if time allows, I join it, if not, I don't. But it's kind of nice knowing it's there if I want to just do a quick check-in. Honestly, I don't know why and I think every man would benefit from just having a little time with other men and just having kind of letting your hair down and being able to share whatever it is that's on your mind. There's not a lot of people in our daily lives who are willing to give us that space and Andy provides it without charge and without prejudice, without judgment and it's just a reassuring thing to have and I wish more men would take advantage of it.

What I enjoyed most !

What I enjoyed most ! is written in the title of this community. Andy's truly Authentic.AF I went through one of his meditation session and! It was amazing!. A lot of times I find it hard to shut out the noise! and Andy was able to assist me in shutting it out and Centering myself. WoW And the noise stopped. It was One of the best experiences I've had in a long time! One of his secrets, his patience and if I had to add one more, it would probably be awareness I could feel his awareness every time.. I kept coming back to the surface he would gently, and patiently guide me back. Thank you, Andy Ps If the noise ever gets too loud for you, he's your guy!

Amazing Community and Mentorship

Alli has created something really special in The Village. Between the daily prompts, classroom, weekly zoom calls, and her 1:1 mentorship; it is a space where I feel free to be myself, write ugly without judgment, and feel genuinely supported and encouraged to hear my own voice again. I have been working 1:1 with Alli and have learned so much about myself. She has helped me put words to things I had been feeling for a long time but wasn’t able to explain. She has created and shared tools to help me work through my emotions and finding myself again. Alli has been so thoughtful, supportive, and intuitive from the very beginning, and I feel truly seen and understood. I highly recommend Alli and her community!

Alli Gatlin knows what she's talking about

Alli Gatlin knows what she's talking about. Her journaling advice and written prompts are excellent, but what proved even more valuable to me was talking with her one-on-one. The combination of encouragement and plain-spoken truths she delivered allowed me to overcome the worst of my self-doubt and really embrace a sense of confidence. Highly recommend.
