I love the community
I love the community and willingness of not only the admins, but the community as a whole helping each other be successful. It is a very positive environment! They have fun interactive post to keep everyone engaged and very informative classes. There is no drama and everyone always has positive and constructive feedback. It is a safe sace for women to learn about Mycology and I am grateful for this group! Mush Love!

One of the biggest shocks I had when first getting into mushroom cultivation...
One of the biggest shocks I had when first getting into mushroom cultivation almost 10 years ago, was that *some* people were very unfriendly (and sometimes unkind) to newbies. I’m sure all of us have come across at least one person like this. You probably know what I’m talking about. It got so bad that newbies are sometimes scared to ask a simple question for fear of being ridiculed. When I joined Ladies of Mycology this was the absolute opposite. The ladies were always super friendly, helpful, and would go out of their way to help by answering questions, give scientifically backed advice (not “bro science”), no “I’m right and I know better than you” attitude. It actually felt like a community! 🫂 The guys were always so jealous (in a good way of course! 😉). They wanted to be part of a community like ours, but of course, LOM was only open for ladies and Non-binary folks. That was until NOW! 🥳🙌🏼✨ LoM has extended its invitation to all people! Now everyone can be a part of such amazing community: men, women, everyone. LOM has evolved a lot in all the years it’s been around (yay for opening its doors to men! 🥳) but it has always been and always will be a safe place to learn the art of cultivation, ask questions, and just meet awesome people. No jerks allowed though. 💖

This group is wonderful!!!
This group is wonderful!!! I can't say enough good things about the beauty and thoughtfulness that you'll find here. Adrienne puts her whole heart into this group and her passion for journaling really shines through. I'm also completely obsessed with the monthly journal download! It's gotten me back into a journaling practice that I didn't think I had the time for and made it so enjoyable. You'll never regret joining this community!
