“Founder, ProveWorth. Obsessed with honest and amazing communities!”
Hey, everybody. My name is Matt and I have been a member of the Classifieds now for almost six months, I believe, and it has been awesome. Shannon has cultivated a really cool culture here and everybody is just going around and obviously sharing and promoting, but also reacting to and using it as a vehicle for discovering new communities. So it's been a really, really awesome space to be in and yeah, I'm definitely happy that I joined. So being a member has been really cool because I am able to obviously learn firsthand about all sorts of incredible communities, but as a premium member, I can also go around and promote my community and even do masterclasses inside, which has been really awesome. I've learned a lot from the people who are doing masterclasses. And because you need to think about how to kind of pitch and promote what you're working on, it is also a forcing function, just being there and seeing what's working well for other community builders and how they're going about posting things. And then of course, getting shout outs from other members has been really fun. So other members are using their daily allotment of posting ability to actually even shout me out, which has just inspired me to shout them out. And it's like a really cool reciprocal sort of thing. So I'm really been enjoying being a member in that regard as well. So, if you need practice pitching or promoting or just generally learning how to better share the value of your offer, the Classifieds is a really awesome place to be because you can go and do so and try all sorts of different things all the time. So, it's really special to go and have an environment that welcomes you in doing that, but also you get to see tons of other people going about doing it. So, if you really want to go and grow in that way, I would say that's going to be a good fit. If it wouldn't be a good fit, it's probably going to be people who just want to promote and don't actively want to engage or be a part of the community in any way. If you're just looking to kind of like spit out all your stuff and go and leave, then that's not great. But, you know, if you want to become part of the community, if you want to eventually do a masterclass, you know, you want to contribute and comment there, I think the Classifieds is a great place to be for those kinds of folks. So, for all those of you who fit in that bill, we'll see you inside.
Hello, my name is Matt Burns. I'm the founder of ProveWorth.com and I'm digging the senders. Harry and Harrison are doing awesome work here and though I am a new member, I am really appreciating it because going out and doing cold outreach to try to book more sales calls is hard. And so having a community around this where you kind of learn and iterate and also kind of really compete with one another, I think is really special. So I'm a new member, but I'm really liking what I'm seeing and the community culture is awesome. So being a member in the senders is really great because not only do you get to have great discussions with people there's also at least as the time of recording they just wrapped up the send games which was a fun competition to go around and promote doing this but also kind of learning strategy so getting to talk with people about like hey how's these deals going where are you kind of losing people in the process and you know between Harry and Harrison and they had an agency so it's clear like they actually have a lot of business experience in b2b sales and generating millions of dollars so being a member is an awesome opportunity to learn and also meet people who are in that space trying to do this as well So, if you are, you know, a passionate person and you're running something passionately or you're, you know, doing something on the side, I'm not sure if the Senders would be great for you because this is really a committed group of people who are all trying to grow their businesses. So, if you're not a business owner, I'm not sure that you would fit as well, but if you are interested in becoming one, if you're interested in sales, especially if you are actively going out, trying to book calls, trying to make sales and doing cold outreach, the Senders is an awesome community for you to consider joining. And at least as of the time of this recording, it's free, so you should definitely get in and come say hi to all of us. We'd love to see you inside.
Hey friends, my name is Matt, and I'm here to talk to you guys about Scoot. The reason why I think my opinion might be a little interesting is because I helped build monday.com. It's one of the first employees out of the U.S., and monday.com is a very well-regarded CRM in the market, and when I left that company, we were at about 3,800 people all across the world. Now, building a school community has its own unique challenges. It's an awesome platform, but there are a lot of things that could be done better, easier, simpler, and in order to keep the platform super simple, they've done a great job of doing that. But a lot of the missing gaps that make running a business so challenging, Scoot actually solves. Being able to have slash commands and throw in auto DMs, be able to reach out to churned people, there's just so many different aspects of what Scoot does that nothing else on the market does, and if they do, they don't necessarily do it as well. So I absolutely love Scoot for that reason, and I joined because I wanted to make the process of growing a community that much simpler and easier. So, being a member from the Skoot side of things and seeing how Skoot is run has been awesome. There are so many great wins and examples that people are sharing that help inspire me to actually go and use Skoot differently. So, that's a lot of fun to see those in the community. And of course, Garrett and the team are doing Skoot news, which is great to stay updated on all of the different ways that Skoot is being utilized. So, it's been great. Obviously, I've joined for the technology, but I've really found there to be a lot of value in the community itself because of all the examples and wins that people are sharing that help teach me how to use Skoot better. So, yeah, I love being a member. It's a nice, chill community, and I find myself coming back every day because Skoot's just such a valuable part of growing our business. Well, if you are running a school community and you're serious about growing it as a business or it's something that you're very passionate about and you are not using Scoot, I would say that you are a little crazy. Maybe you don't know about it. Maybe you're not sure about it. Hopefully something like this will help. But I highly recommend that you guys go ahead and check out Scoot and really sign up for the trial and see if it's worthwhile. Who wouldn't benefit from Scoot? Well, if you're not running a school community, you're definitely not a good fit. But maybe you're not running a school community as a serious business or something that you really want to grow in your hobby. And so, yeah, I don't think Scoot would be a great fit for you because maybe you're just trying to keep things super easy and non-technical. But if it is your desire to grow on school, there really is no better way for you to do so than to incorporate Scoot into the customer journey or the member journey and utilize it to make things simple, fast and easy for you. So, yeah, if you've got a school community, you've got to have Scoot.
Hey everybody, it's Matt and I'm here to talk to you about AI Launchpad for Creators. And this community is something real special. I cannot believe that it's free. Phil and Jess have been doing an amazing job with growing the community and there's awesome great conversations in there and it's super active. So I joined because I found out about Phil, he had joined my community and after checking out his I realized that there would be tons of great value. And one of the things that I really love about it is the fact that there are builders inside. People actually trying to do things and Phil and Jess are actively building things as well. So it's the kind of space that I really want to be in and I'm finding a ton of value in. Actually, being a member has been great because like I mentioned, those builders are in there sharing things that are actively helpful. It's useful for me to go in and check regularly because the conversations are there and they're happening. Phil and Jess keep it really active, but they also make sure that it's productive conversation and stuff that people actually need. If you're a creator right now, it really doesn't make sense why you wouldn't want to join. You should join, long story short. So school native creators would really benefit from this. I can see a lot of other school creators inside of the community there that are posting and sharing, which is great. But if you are a community builder of any sort, or if you're somebody who's looking to leverage AI to make the community and creator journey easier for you, and that's making content or just being more productive, because I know Phil's working on something pretty cool there. Yeah, it makes a ton of sense to join. So I'll look forward to seeing you guys inside.
Networking has completely changed my life for the infinitely better, and there is nobody doing it better online than Lukas Schmidt. As both a huge fan of Sanderson and Star Wars, the theme of the whole experience was a ton of fun. And it is set up in a way that will still resonate with folks who aren't fans of those particular franchises. What I think is particularly special about this community above other communities, even those that seem to focus on networking, is the fact that he teaches you how to do the skill and then offers an actual place for it to happen. You go and create a post, then you comment on the reflections of the week, then you share updates on what you're doing and how your calls went. The really cool thing is that the environment reinforces all of this. You see people posting about the calls that they've had, and it's a great encouragement and reminder for you to be hopping on and networking with people, because you never know who you're going to meet and how they might change your life for the better. Plus, everybody out there is seeking information and trying to learn as much as they can, so it's really gratifying when you are also able to contribute and help others along in their journey. I can't recommend The Game enough and hope that you will all join and find it as fulfilling as I have!!
Hey, I'm Matt!!
Founder of ProveWorth. Built this because too many builders fake their social proof, and too many seekers get burned paying for communities that don't deliver.
Spent the last couple years running the fee math on 20+ community platforms and reading thousands of reviews. Not a job I'd recommend. But honestly? The signal is out there, someone just had to pull it together and put it where people can find it.
Got a community I should review? Head over to proveworth.com/submit and we'll check it out!
