Finbar's got a great ear. He has straightened me out on so many songs. If you're trying to level up, this is the coaching you need. Don't take my opinion. Finbar's got a huge group of followers for a reason.
I strongly recommend Pro Gig Academy (Plus). I used to play my guitar and attempt to sing like the original artists, which was rarely successful. Finbar has shown us how to adjust the keys and chord shapes to get songs in the right vocal range in order to, ostensibly, be able to sing for a 3-hour gig. Just as importantly he has shown us how develop set lists that crowds enjoy. The entire community is supportive, creative, and on the road to getting gigs.

I have been getting a lot out PGC. I find it to be a great value. It is amazing what can happen with a little help. I think it is one of the best things I have done for myself in years.
The PGA Plus community is a highly effective way of learning. It brings together a wide variety of ideas and thoughts from a group of like-minded people. The way we share experiences and give feedback is instrumental in moving me forwards to improve my playing and confidence, and ultimately to get regular paid gigs. Finbar has created something quite unique, and the way he facilitates the 4-times a week webinars builds enormous value. In summary, to me, this is a fantastic and valuable investment of time and money. I recommend it wholeheartedly 100%!
I find that finbar is very personable and detail oriented, he spends alot of time creating and perfecting lessons while also taking the time to watch the students videos and offer constructive feedback, there's nothing pre recorded or false, it's really him just being great at what he does. And I've felt the benefit of it the whole time I've been a member.
PGA+ is a great community to help improve your solo acoustic playing. Video feedback to help you find the correct key, melody line and improve your performance. Gaining confidence and building a strong set list for solo gigging are just a few of the benefits of PGA+
I get better each day on so many levels. Setlists, video analysis, marketing tips... There is a lot of supportive interaction in the group. Finbars consistent immediate experience-driven feedback holds everything together. Best decision for growing as a musician.
