I spend a lot of time driving, including long stretches on the highway, and in winter cruise control is not really an option. My days also include a lot of sitting at work. I started noticing that I would finish my trips with tight shoulders and neck, and a stiff and sometimes painful right knee. Some of it was likely road conditions, but my body was clearly holding a lot of tension. Michael suggested a few simple adjustments, including sitting on a pillow to slightly change the angle of my hips. I am not 100 percent sure of the exact mechanics, but I can absolutely feel the difference. That small tweak, combined with the daily 20 minute restorative movement flow I have been doing in his group, has noticeably changed how my drives feel. My body feels more supported, and the pain and tension I had been experiencing are gone. What I appreciate most is how practical and accessible the suggestions were. Small changes, real results. I am actually starting to enjoy my commutes instead of dreading them. Highly recommend.
